Amy Louise Evans is a new UK illustrator. Her first picture book Mandy is Still a Banana, written by Zoe Arena, comes out with Hachette in 2025.
Before Amy and Zoe were represented by The Catchpole Agency, Mandy was selected by dPICTUS for their Unpublished Picturebook Showcase in Bologna in 2023.
Biography
Amy loves working with traditional media and print to ‘make a mess’ - before using digital processes to give energy, movement and character to the everyday.
She's a lecturer at Wolverhampton School of Art. And when she is not illustrating or lecturing, she enjoys sketch-booking away, running, and relaxing with her pet greyhound.
Amy Evans lives in the West Midlands, and is represented by The Catchpole Agency.
