Pedro de Alcantara - author

Pedro de Alcantara is the author of
Befiddled (a novel for middle graders featuring a 13-year-old violinist who must battle mean teachers, an unsympathetic mother, and really bad hair) and
Backtracked (a novel for young adults featuring a 16-year-old rebel without a cause and graffiti artist who uses the New York City subway system as a time-travel vessel).
His next novel (the story of a 17-year-old boy who seems to have achieved the absolute knowledge of all things) is to be titled
The Divine Computer. Pedro's books are published by Delacorte Press, an imprint of the New York branch of Random House.
In addition to his literary career, Pedro travels the world giving seminars for musicians, writers, and all creative people. Pedro grew up in Brazil and lives in Paris with his wife Alexis Niki, a screenwriter and consultant.
