He also illustrates the Funny Life of... series by James Campbell. The Funny Life of Football won the Sunday Times Children's Sports Book Prize 2023.
Rob studied illustration at The University of Gloucestershire, graduating in 2011. It was during this time that he discovered a love for making books, toys and puppets.
His first book, Bernard, won the People's Book Prize in 2014.
Rob also illustrates books for other authors, like James Campbell's The Funny Life Of... series for Bloomsbury.
He still enjoys making puppets, and has made a number of them for The Story Museum's Christmas productions in Oxford.
Where's Brian's Bottom? - a very long board book about a very long sausage dog written and illustrated by Rob - came out in 2021. And Who's Tickling Tilly? follows in 2022, also published by Pavilion.
